Warehouse Associate I

About the role

Impact Property Solutions is searching for a Warehouse Associate I to support our branch operations. This position is responsible for assisting with the daily loadout of contract installers, supporting the shipping and receiving process, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness and inventory structure.

Responsibilities

• Assist with shipping and receiving, loading & unloading trucks, and scheduling freight carriers for pick-up and delivery.
• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequences (e.g., size, type, style, color, or product code).
• Fill sales orders, work orders, or requests for materials and distribute items to shipping or designated assembly areas.
• Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed using the appropriate computer program.
• Weigh and count items for distribution to ensure conformance to company standards.
• Maintain warehouse and work area orderliness and cleanliness at all times.
• Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
• Gather and position parts and subassemblies using templates or by reading measurements.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s license required.
• 1-year experience in a warehouse work environment preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Flooring industry knowledge is a plus.
• RFMS Systems experience is a plus.

• Demonstrated understanding of company safety processes.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of or ability to quickly learn company product codes and terminology.
• Good analytical skills and ability to make sound judgments regarding inventory.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) in all units of measure.
• Experience using computer programs preferred.

Pay

$17–$22 hourly wage.

Physical Requirements

• Warehouse facility is not climate-controlled and may experience extreme temperatures.
• Requires up to 8 hours of standing/walking (with breaks).
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times.
• Must be able to navigate the warehouse and reach items both high and low.
