Warehouse Associate/Backup Driver

Schedule

• Warehouse Associate: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Warehouse Associate/Backup Driver: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• No weekend or holiday work
• 2 weeks of time off in the first year plus paid holidays

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup per schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
• Receive and process stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
• Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
• Operate and perform preventative maintenance on warehouse vehicles and equipment
• Occasionally fill in making deliveries to other businesses (for Warehouse/Backup Driver role)
• Complete order receipts
• Stock shelves, racks, cases, bins, and tables with new or transferred merchandise
• Operate equipment such as forklifts
• Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or on computer
• Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas
• Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards
• Issue or distribute materials, products, parts, and supplies to customers or coworkers, based on information from incoming requisitions
• Receive, unload, open, unpack, or issue sales floor merchandise

Qualifications

• Basic warehouse experience, picking and packing experience, under close supervision
• Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
• Good math skills (add, subtract, multiply, and divide)
• Good organization and time management skills
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. periodically
• Valid driver license and clean driving record
• Must be able to read and write in English as it pertains to the job and safety requirements
• Experience with RF scanning is a plus
• Local candidates only; no relocation will be provided

Pay

$18–$20/hr. based on experience
