Warehouse Associate

About the role
Start a career with a respected international company as a Distribution Center (DC) Associate. Perform operational activities within the warehouse to achieve efficient and accurate fulfillment of customer orders and receipt of replenishment product.
Responsibilities
- Operate various Material Handling Equipment (MHE) in a safe and efficient manner.
- Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of products.
- Unload and put-away product utilizing RF (radio frequency) technology.
- Inspect inbound for OSD (overages, shortages, and damages).
- Pick and stage product.
- Load truck(s).
- Maintain organization of product in the warehouse.
- Assist center to optimize operations and customer service to achieve business plan and DC profitability.
- Participate in cycle count or physical inventory process as required.
- Maintain a clean work area and assist in the overall sanitation of the DC.
- Complete MHE reports as required by company policy and OSHA regulations.
- Perform any other tasks as defined by Supervisor or Center Manager.
- Abide by all Federal, State, and Local laws.
- Other duties as assigned or requested.
Requirements
- Forklift certification preferred.
- Experience with RF scanners preferred.
- Safety-first mentality.
- Prior distribution center experience preferred.
- Prior material handling equipment experience preferred.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively while bending and twisting, and ability to occasionally lift more than 50 lbs.
