Warehouse Associate

Base pay plus a $3/hour shift differential for 2nd shift. Flexible scheduling available for full-time and part-time positions.

Schedule

2nd shift (approximately 3–4 PM until 11 PM–12 AM).

Responsibilities

• Follow Menards safety policies and procedures.
• Safely operate forklift or other machinery.
• Work cooperatively and productively with other Team Members under little supervision.
• Load trucks according to cubic weight, size, and characteristics.
• Provide outstanding service with attention to detail and complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Maintain condition of work area (e.g., free of trash, product in correct location).
• Perform safety check of powered industrial vehicle prior to operation.
• Locate product in warehouse using manifest or scanning system.
• Use hand-held scanning equipment to add or subtract product from inventory.
• Record quantity of product actually loaded onto manifest system.
• Ensure accuracy of load by verifying quantity with computer inquiry screens.
• Transport product from production/receiving areas using powered industrial vehicle.
• Perform additional duties assigned by Distribution Center Management.

Physical Demands

• Requires intermittent periods of continuous physical exertion, such as walking, standing, stooping, bending, climbing, and lifting material or equipment (some heavy or awkward).
• Warehouse environment may expose Team Members to temperature fluctuations (hot/cold), noise, dust, and uneven walking surfaces.
• Frequently lift up to 50 lbs.; occasionally lift up to 70 lbs.

Requirements

• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Warehouse experience preferred but not required.
