Warehouse Associate

About the Role

Supports all day-to-day warehouse duties such as packaging, inventory, shipping, picking, and receiving. Responsible for moving, stocking, receiving, and packing outbound warehouse merchandise. Assists in inventory level maintenance and inventory counts. Operates warehouse equipment as needed to complete tasks. Responsible for following warehouse safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Completes daily warehouse tasks including shipping, receiving, packaging, pulling, inventory, and warehouse organizational tasks
• Unloads shipments from suppliers, verifying order accuracy
• Able to troubleshoot and be flexible to jump between tasks based on order demands
• Prepares product for manufacturing and distribution
• Inspects product for defects and verifies correct counts
• Responsible for in-process checks and inventory adjustments
• Loads and receives merchandise, building orders and merchandise organization
• Interprets production schedule and ensures proper materials are in inventory and ready for use
• Ensures and maintains appropriate packaging inventory for products
• Must be able to work independently and part of a team, following instructions and completing tasks assigned by Supervisor/Lead Operator
• Occasional use of Warehouse management or ERP systems
• Assists other employees in accomplishing company goals
• Participates in and completes company-required training programs
• Meets all quality standards in performing assigned tasks
• Participates in Environmental, Health, Safety and OSHA initiatives as set forth by the company
• Performs other duties as needed in support of business objectives assigned by manager

• Must be punctual, stable, reliable, able to follow instructions, and detail-oriented
• Ensure and maintain appropriate packaging inventory for products
• Performs work with little supervision and takes initiative when needed
• Must be efficient and a team player
• Must perform tasks in a timely manner
• Must be able to perform fast repetitive tasks at an efficient and precise level
• Knowledge of computers and relevant software applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and ERP system); keyboarding skills preferred
• Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff
• Possesses a working knowledge of subject matter
• Must be able to work in a high pace environment

Education & Experience

• Minimum 2-3+ years of warehousing experience
• Must be able to drive forklift and organize materials
• Typically requires a high school diploma and 0 to 2 years of experience
• Licensed stand-up and sit-down forklift experience is a plus

Requirements

• Must be over 21 years of age
• Prolonged periods of standing, sitting, and/or working on a computer
• Be able to stand, bend, kneel, squat, and twist for prolonged periods of time
• Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift 50 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance
• Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities
• Must be able to complete repeated twisting, grasping, reaching, turning, stooping, and lifting activities throughout shift and for prolonged periods of time
• This role operates in a cannabis manufacturing setting where exposure to fine plant particles, such as dust from grinding or trimming, is common. The company provides all necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) to maintain safety and comfort while working in this environment

Pay

This position is a full-time role at $19.00/hour.
