About the role

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving materials in the warehouse, loading trucks, and processing inventory. This position also serves as a key resource for inventory accuracy initiatives, including cycle counting activities, inventory investigations, and assisting with the planning and execution of annual physical inventories.

Responsibilities

  • Continually lift 50-100 lbs. of material throughout the day.
  • Lift trucks with material scheduled for the day’s deliveries within compliance of securing and distributing weight limits according to DOT regulations.
  • Provide superior customer service.
  • Double check all loads for accuracy and ensure they are thoroughly secured for delivery.
  • Provide warehouse support including shipping/receiving.
  • Pull orders for walk-in customers.
  • Must have a clean driving record.
  • Perform routine cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Aid in inventory control processes, including stock verification, adjustments, and location audits.
  • Support and help coordinate the company's physical inventory counts, ensuring accurate documentation and reconciliation of inventory variances.
  • Maintain organized inventory locations and ensure products are properly labeled and stored.
  • Utilize inventory management systems to record inventory movements and transactions.
  • Partner with warehouse leadership to identify and resolve inventory issues and improve inventory accuracy.

Requirements

  • Able to lift 50-100 lbs. throughout the day, some lifting over 100 lbs. may be required.
  • Ability to stand, bend, twist through complete shift.
  • Forklift experience desired.
  • Ability to communicate with co-workers, vendors, and customers (verbal and written).
  • Positive attitude and team player.
  • Adhere to all safety policies, including wearing safety harness and other required equipment.
  • Work Monday through Friday and opportunity for overtime during the busy season.
  • Previous inventory control, cycle counting, or inventory management experience preferred.
  • Experience assisting with physical inventory counts and inventory reconciliation.
  • Ability to accurately analyze inventory discrepancies and perform basic inventory reporting.
  • Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, or inventory software preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

  • High School degree or GED.
