About The Role
In this position, you will:
- Maintain receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures
- Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts
- Maintain physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts, inspecting equipment, issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklift to place products and materials in proper place
- Load and log materials onto truck and makes notation of returned materials
- Prepare jobs and materials for all crews
- Clean trucks (both inside and out)
- Deliver material/transporting employees to job sites
- Other duties as assigned
Key Qualifications
- Must have a valid Driver's License
- Minimum of 1-2 years Warehouse experience
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly
- Must know safe warehouse practices
- Must be willing to deliver product between offices on daily basis
- Forklift experience required
- Knowledge of home remodeling products or construction materials is a plus
