Warehouse Associate

About the role

As a Warehouse Operator at Reece & Fortiline, you’ll keep communities safe by ensuring customers receive the materials they need to provide clean water and heating/cooling. You’ll work cooperatively in a team to efficiently receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming material, maintain inventory standards, and ensure accurate customer deliveries. This role involves operating forklifts and other material handling equipment, loading and unloading trucks, and delivering high-quality customer service and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Work cooperatively in a team to receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming material to maintain inventory standards.
• Verify all loads to ensure accurate customer deliveries.
• Properly load and unload materials from trucks while maintaining inventory control.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Deliver high-quality customer service and professionalism.

Requirements

• Knowledge and skills equivalent to 4 years’ experience in warehouse operations, including materials handling and stocking.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds or more, bend, squat, crouch, reach, and work indoors/outdoors as required.
• Attendance: Ability to maintain scheduled days and hours, including onsite presence at the assigned location.
• Physical capacities: Frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds, sitting and standing for extended periods, kneeling, squatting, climbing, and walking.
• Operation of office and warehouse equipment, including computers, forklifts, and material handling tools.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
