Role
The Warehouse Helper & Parts Runner will be responsible for performing deliveries to multiple locations as needed, receiving deliveries, preparing job materials, and handling returns to vendors. The employee will be supporting various warehouse functions and performing duties as assigned for the needs of the business daily.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Be responsible for pickup and delivery of HVAC & Plumbing related items
- Pickup, receive, verify, load, and deliver equipment and materials as needed per job
- Receive inventory into our inventory management system
- Sort and locate each part and place in proper warehouse location
- Correctly complete all paperwork and/or computer input required for each job
- Accurately maintain and organize inventory
- Establish and demonstrate effective working relationships
- Maintain company vehicle, warehouse, and lot cleanliness
- Represent the Home Service Team in a manner that conveys the 5-Star experience for fellow employee-owners and customers
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum / Preferred Experience And Education
- High school diploma, completion of G.E.D.
- Experience in Warehousing
- Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and working proficiency with hand-held computer (i.e. smartphone, tablet)
- Current, valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record

- Occasionally lift equipment, tools, products, and supplies, up to 50 pounds
- Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
Work Environment
- Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts
- Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, extreme heat, and risk of electrical shock
- Frequent exposure to outside weather conditions
- Frequent exposure to noise levels in the work environment
