Warehouse Assistant Volunteer

Description

The Campaign Against Hunger also known as TCAH is one of the largest food pantries in New York City. Its mission is to empower its neighbors to lead healthier, more productive, and self-sufficient lives by increasing their access to nutritious food and related resources. With the help of our many volunteers and staff, TCAH has been able to provide over 6 million meals to members of the community and organizations, in response to COVID-19. To meet the needs of our community, The Campaign Against Hunger is rapidly expanding our dynamic team.

Shifts Available

• Monday- Friday 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• Lunch 12 PM-1 PM

Requirements

We are kindly asking for a minimum of 3 hours weekly.

Responsibilities

• Inventory
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the Warehouse
• Breaking down boxes
• Performs other tasks as necessary deemed by TCAH pantry staff, supervisors or managers.
