Warehouse Assistant - Linens

About the role

The 1978 Collection, a prestigious event company, is seeking warehouse assistants. This job involves checking (counting) in dirty linens upon arrival at the warehouse, helping to load and unload cargo vans with linen, restocking clean linens back to their correct locations, pulling new orders and racking them for deliveries, performing daily inventory counts as needed, and conducting year-end inventories.

Responsibilities

• Stand, walk, and bend constantly while carrying linens.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Climb up and down 12-foot ladders on a regular basis while carrying table linens on hangers.
• Read Packing Lists and pull orders accurately according to customer requirements.
• Perform basic housekeeping duties such as sweeping, straightening, and trash removal.
• Work in a non-air-conditioned warehouse environment.
• Work both collaboratively with a team and independently.

• Must be able to stand, walk, and bend constantly while carrying linens.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Benefits

• Multiple positions available.
• Starting salary range: $18.00 per hour.

Pay

• $18.00 per hour

Schedule

• 40 hours per week
• Monday through Friday, from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Overtime may be possible.
