Warehouse Assistant

Job Duties

  • Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor.
  • Perform inventory cycle counts and update inventory management system.
  • Receive, label, pick and stage material for various projects in accordance with Williams receiving standard operating procedure.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse.
  • Resolve all delivery complaints and receiving disputes quickly and effectively.
  • Escalate appropriately and ensure proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed.
  • Bring problems to the attention of the Warehouse Manager.
  • Communicate efficiently and effectively with internal and external stakeholders to answer questions related to warehouse operations.
  • Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits.
  • Optimize warehouse space utilization.
  • Operate, inspect, and schedule maintenance for warehouse vehicles and equipment.
  • Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Perform other tasks related to facilities, warehousing, and purchasing as directed.
