Warehouse Assistant

The Warehouse Assistant will be responsible for filling inventory, shipping and receiving and fabrication duties to help in keeping warehouse mechanics and drivers on task. This position will require loading and unloading trucks, cleaning shop and office areas, making local deliveries and pick ups and fabricating. Compensation Wage Range Starting at: $18.00/hr based on qualifications & experience Schedule Monday – Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm, with the ability to work overtime as needed (schedule may vary by season) Job Duties Pick up parts from vendors as neededStock and restock inventoryRetrieve parts from stock and deliver them to the mechanic and/or work siteAssist in maintaining an accurate inventory countMaintain a neat and orderly parts shelf and areaPerform upkeep and maintenance duties, such as cleaning shop, picking up tool, sweeping floors, emptying trash cans and other housekeeping tasks Requirements Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at onceBe customer service driven with internal customers and third parties by telephone, email, mail or in person and meet deadlinesTake initiative and work independently during downtownExperience and ability to operate heavy equipment and/ or vehiclesBasic familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and similar applications Additional Requirements Must have valid state-issued drivers licensedAble to pass pre-employment drug screen, background check, and MVR Additional Details This position requires work both indoors and outdoors in all kinds of weather conditions, including precipitation, cold / heat, high wind, and turbulent conditions.
