Responsibilities

• Assist in daily shipping, receiving, and delivery duties.
• Maintain a neat, organized warehouse and yard free of safety violations.
• Support daily operations of the Warehouse and Tool room.
• Receive, label, and verify accuracy of incoming shipments.
• Pull tool orders and manage incoming tools from the field.
• Perform stock pulls or inventory transfers for warehouse items.
• Stage and pack equipment for upcoming jobs by priority.
• Organize and reorganize the warehouse to accommodate new material.
• Keep the warehouse clear of obstructions and tripping hazards.
• Load and unload delivery trucks and semitrailers.
• Assist in yard operations and spare fleet tasks (e.g., upfitting, vehicle delivery, cleaning).
• Report warehouse protocol violations or safety concerns to management immediately.
• Cross-train in all warehouse aspects to serve as a backup when needed.
• Assist in light building maintenance as necessary.
• Perform delivery driving as required.
• Complete other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of three (3) years of warehouse experience, preferably in a commercial construction setting.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products.
• Valid Florida Driver’s License.
• Ability to:
  • See well (naturally or with correction).
  • Use hands, fingers, arms, and legs fully.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
  • Climb and balance on ladders and scaffolds.
  • Stand for long periods of time.
• Compliance with all B&I safety procedures.
• Pass pre-employment drug test, background check, and maintain a clean driving record.
