Warehouse & Assembly Technician

About the role

Proconex is the exclusive Emerson Impact Partner for Emerson Automation Solutions in the Mid-Atlantic region, providing process automation control systems, valves, control devices, and related technologies to various industries. As an entry‑level Warehouse & Assembly Technician in Royersford, PA, you will receive hands‑on training and mentorship to build technical skills and advance into field service, lead technician, supervisor, or management positions.

Responsibilities

• Assemble control valves, regulators, and automated valve systems with precision and attention to detail
• Perform safety checks and inspections on products after completing required training
• Load and unload trucks, organize inventory, ship and receive materials, and manage material flow
• Assist with packaging, skid building, crate loading, and inventory management
• Help maintain a clean, organized, safe work environment and support company operations
• Follow all company and customer safety policies, maintain proper procedures, and prioritize a secure workplace

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (or currently enrolled in/graduated from a trade or technical program)
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a warehouse environment
• Teamwork and communication skills
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record (preferred)
• Drug screening required

Qualifications

• Forklift certification (we can train you)
• Trade school or technical background
• Any warehouse, inventory, or technical experience
• Shipping/receiving experience

Pay

$20‑22/hr base pay with regular performance reviews and advancement opportunities; overtime available.

Schedule

Monday‑Friday day shift with overtime opportunities; stable, predictable schedule.
