About the role
The Warehouse Technician is a full-time, regular/at-will position based at our Sarasota - Vicela Drive location. This role is integral to the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse facility. The Warehouse Technician is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment and managing all inventory-related activities within the location.
Responsibilities
- Receive all purchase orders and validate them against packing slips within 24 hours of receipt to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure all items within the warehouse are properly tagged, labeled, and stored in accordance with Numotion's organizational standards.
- Manage return authorizations in a timely manner, including requesting, processing returns, and reporting outcomes accurately.
- Complete all inventory transactions within the company's Operating System, ensuring data integrity and up-to-date records at all times.
- Clean and organize the warehouse consistently to meet Numotion's established standards for safety and efficiency.
- Perform waste management duties including breaking down boxes, removing pallets, and disposing of packaging materials appropriately.
- Sanitize and maintain fleet equipment, including rental, demo, and loaner items, to ensure they are in proper working condition and meet hygiene standards.
- Provide guidance and support on proper inventory control procedures within the warehouse to team members and relevant stakeholders.
- Adhere to employee and customer confidentiality requirements and comply with Numotion's internal policies as well as applicable federal regulations.
- Deliver excellent customer service to all internal and external customers at all times, providing solutions for customer concerns and maintaining customer service as a top operational priority.
- Utilize Numotion Leadership Principles to perform all job duties with integrity, compliance, and values consistent with Numotion's mission.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management, with the understanding that duties and responsibilities may be subject to change based on organizational needs.
Physical Work Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and pull/push equipment heavier than 100 lbs. on occasion.
- Ability to endure prolonged periods of standing, bending, or kneeling while working in the warehouse environment.
- Requires fine manipulation capabilities and firm grasping abilities with hands and fingers.
- Ability to work overtime as needed to meet operational demands.
Skills
- Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email, and Internet navigation
- Inventory management and warehouse organization skills
- Ability to receive, validate, and process purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner
- Knowledge of proper tagging, labeling, and storage procedures for warehouse inventory
- Ability to manage return authorizations including requesting, processing, and reporting

Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience required
- Prior experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment is preferred
- Supply chain and/or inventory management experience is a plus
- Experience using warehouse or inventory management operating systems is advantageous
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment
- Experience with receiving, staging, and put-away of inventory in a warehouse setting
- Experience handling return authorizations and processing inventory transactions is preferred
- Experience maintaining and sanitizing equipment or fleet assets is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to follow organizational standards and compliance requirements
- Experience providing customer service in an operational or warehouse environment is beneficial
