Warehouse Area Manager

About the role

The Warehouse Area Manager leads the inbound or outbound teams within Spreetail’s fulfillment center, playing a crucial role in ensuring efficient and accurate operations. This position is part of the early stages of leadership and offers opportunities for advancement across the company's supply chain network.

Responsibilities

• Ensure each shipment leaves the distribution center representing the brand effectively.
• Suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Hold regular meetings with Leads to provide training, address concerns, and foster team growth.
• Pre-plan with carriers and networks to meet capacity expectations for both carriers and fulfillment centers.
• Communicate effectively with marketplace representatives to ensure performance standards are met and issues are promptly addressed.

Requirements

• Adequate 2-4 years of management or leadership experience.
• Proficiency in Excel, including plan forecasting and analysis.
• Experience in process mapping and standard operating procedure documentation.
• Ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
• Flexibility to work some weekends and long hours during busy periods.
