Warehouse and Maintenance Technician

About the role

Structural Technologies is hiring an Assistant Warehouse Technician at its warehouse in Columbia, Maryland. This position provides warehouse support including inventory checks, equipment repairs and maintenance, invoice preparation, and parts ordering. Key responsibilities also include picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment to support equipment repair, operating warehouse equipment, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and assisting with semi-annual inventory counts and warehouse organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide warehouse support, including inventory checks, equipment repairs and maintenance, invoice preparation, and parts ordering.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment to support equipment repair.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, pallet wrappers, etc.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Absorb minimal receiving and inspection of incoming shipments.
• Assist with semi-annual inventory counts and warehouse organization.
• Follow all Company safety procedures and policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Highschool diploma or vocational degree.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and of SAE and metric tools.
• Willingness to teach; maintenance and servicing equipment on project sites.
• Support project teams utilizing our specialized equipment.
• Safe operation and maintenance of our specialized equipment.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office products preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Up to 5% of travel may be required for this position.
