About the role

As a Cargo Warehouse Agent at Lufthansa Cargo, you will be at the heart of operations, ensuring precision, teamwork, and exceptional service for every shipment.

Responsibilities

• Physical acceptance, R4C, and security check of cargo
• Storage of cargo
• ULD build-up and monitoring/supporting external staff
• Weighing ULD/trolley
• Signing ULD tag
• Physical breakdown of cargo
• Storage and reporting of irregularities (missing, damages, etc.) and non-declared DGR
• Hand over freight to customers
• Work according to documented CHM and GOM procedures
• Observe and apply the security requirements of LCAG and local authorities
• Perform all other duties assigned or delegated by supervisors

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED desirable
• Fluency in English language required
• Qualification according to CHM/GOM required
• 2 years of air cargo experience
• Computer literate as a user
• Excellent reliability, responsibility, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work well under time pressure and manage stress effectively
• Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions and lift up to 70 lbs
• Tolerance for noise pollution
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• Must be willing to work shifts
• Must possess a legal work permit in the U.S.
