This role leverages extensive warehouse expertise to ensure efficient operations, maintain high standards of accuracy, and mentor less experienced team members. You will play a key role in streamlining processes, resolving complex issues, and upholding safety and organizational standards in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on handling freight shipping processes.
Responsibilities
- Manage the receipt, inspection, and processing of shipments to ensure quality and accuracy
- Coordinate order preparation and shipping with precision and timeliness
- Handle advanced inventory management, resolving discrepancies and maintaining accurate records
- Operate and oversee the safe use of warehouse equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks
- Train team members on proper equipment use and safety procedures
- Mentor and guide less experienced staff, ensuring compliance with company standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment following safety protocols
- Work with supervisors and team members to improve workflows and productivity
- Take initiative to solve operational challenges and adapt to changing priorities
- Support other warehouse functions as needed, including loading and unloading trucks
Requirements
- 2+ years of relevant work experience
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required
- Strong foundational skills in math, reading, and writing
- Basic computer skills
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inventory management and order processing
- Strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with team members and supervisors
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new tasks and procedures
- Action oriented and resourceful
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical tasks, including standing, bending, and walking for extended periods
Physical Activity
- Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like

Schedule
Day Shift: Monday - Friday, 7am-3:30pm
Pay
Wage: $24.00 per hour
In addition to base pay, Zebra offers this role the opportunity to earn a performance-based annual cash incentive, at a target equal to 3% of base pay, in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
