Wardrobe Styling Coordinator
About the role
The Wardrobe Styling Coordinator is responsible for managing all wardrobe operations supporting the Styling and Editorial teams. This role ensures that all samples, stylist kits, and closet inventory are organized, tracked, and ready for use across eCommerce and editorial shoots. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, fashion-forward environment.
Key responsibilities
- Order items for stylist kits
- Order new/replacement filler
- Ensure closet items are scannable
- Ensure items are rotated out of closet after 2 weeks
- Present new styling pieces in daily styling meeting
- Compile new season basic lists for approval
- Compile trends pieces for approval
- Aid in training team new team members on netsuite, adp, scanner program
- Editorial packing/unpacking supervision
- Sample returns
- Create Editorial Credits spreadsheet
- Communicate with buying to get a list of items to order
- Communicate with Stylist to get a list of items to order
- Order items from DC/Library; communicate with DC to expedite packages if necessary; order all in junior and curve
- Reference direction from Creative Team (Dustin’s Team) (mood boards, location, models, concept) to pull samples from the website and the sample coordinators to supplement what stylist pulls
- Unpack/organize all samples; bobble samples according to shot, not shot, buyer sample, library, DC
- Scan in samples to editorial (for location purposes) and scan into netsuite to get wms id, display name, and style number
- Create inventory sheet
- Ensure we have all categories covered for wire frame
- Create shot list with sku, photo of outfit, model, location, photo notes, styling notes
- Pack all outfits on racks according to model
- Pack shoes/accessories in suitcases; pack styling kits; pack everything in uhaul
Editorial
- Unpack, set up styling area, and steam all items
- Make sure all items stay with correct hangers to be able to do credits and get correct items back to correct departments
- Re pack everything to bring back to the studio
Post Editorial
- Unpack/clean up editorial/collection
- Finalize editorial and collection selling shot sheets
- Communicate with Creative Team, Retouching, Content, and Site Merchandising to make sure all items are accounted for and can be linked on the website
- Return all samples to the correct department (DC, Library, Buyers, Josh) to make sure they are shot on ecomm as well.
- Put back all accessories/shoes to closet
Role requirements
- Experienced styling assistant with 1-3 years experience in editorial & e-commerce fashion shoots
- A good eye with technical styling knowledge - Cuts, proportions, shape
- Good knowledge of trends, hot items, the most forward styling trends and accessories
- Motivated to work in an energetic environment and re-prioritize according to our requirements
- Good understanding and interest in the Global fashion landscape, encompassing photography, design trends and innovation
- Stay up-to-date on industry
- Strong self-motivator, able to accomplish different tasks and to support more junior members
- Fluent in English (s) an advantage
