Apparel Development Coordinator
About the Role
Pact is looking for an Apparel Development Coordinator to support our Product Development Team across the full product lifecycle — from initial concept through production handoff. You’ll be the detail-oriented hub connecting development, design, sourcing, and production: maintaining development records, tracking samples, ensuring accurate documentation, and keeping seasonal timelines on track. This role is a great fit for someone who is organized, communicative, and excited to build streamlined processes.
What You’ll Do
- Support the Manager of Technical Development throughout the development process, from concept and design handoff through bulk production.
- Manage and track development protos — from initial request through to PPS.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in our product development and tracking systems, including style numbers, BOMs, tech packs, sample status, and costs.
- Monitor the seasonal development calendar against key milestones and proactively flag delays or risks.
- Cook with vendor partners on sample requests and development questions.
- Organize and maintain the physical sample library, ensuring samples are logged, labeled, and easy to locate.
- Assist with tech packs, spec sheets, and measurement charts to ensure development accuracy.
- Maintain clean data in PLM system and become Subject Matter Expert for pulling necessary reports for cross-functional teams.
- Communicate cross-functionally with design, sourcing, merchandising, and production to keep everyone aligned on status.
- Support quality checks to confirm development samples meet our strict standards.
- Support in fittings, measuring samples, and other development related responsibilities.
- Support costing process: requesting and documenting costing files by development round
- Contribute to the organization, improvement, and ongoing administration of Product Development systems, workflows, documentation and departmental standards.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Apparel Design, Textiles, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in product development, sourcing, or production.
- Sharp attention to detail and strong organizational skills — you keep samples and data accurate even when timelines are tight.
- Clear, proactive communication skills and comfort working cross-functionally with internal teams and overseas factory partners.
- High proficiency in Excel and Illustrator; familiarity with PLM systems.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines at once in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong follow-through with a proactive approach to identifying issues, meeting deadlines, and driving action items to completion.
- Ability to learn new systems, software and processes quickly.
- Experience maintaining product data, documentation, trackers, databases, or other business critical records.
Compensation
$65,000 to $75,000 annually, depending on experience.
