Apparel Production Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Production Coordinator to support a growing Division serving major big box retail accounts. This role supports the production process from purchase order issuance through delivery, helping ensure timelines, quality standards, and margin goals are met.

Responsibilities

• Support the Production Manager throughout the apparel production lifecycle across multiple programs and categories.
• Cook up production timelines to ensure on-time delivery to retail partners.
• Issue, update, and track purchase orders, including costs, lead times, and delivery targets.
• Partner with overseas vendors and internal teams across Design, Technical Design, Merchandising, Logistics, and Compliance.
• Manage the Time & Action calendar and follow up on key production milestones.
• Track fabric approvals, trims, lab dips, fit samples, and TOP samples.
• Ensure testing and packaging requirements are met.
• Maintain accurate records in PLM systems and Excel trackers.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of apparel production experience, ideally within private label, big-box, or club retail.
• Knowledge of the apparel development process, from sourcing through delivery.
• Strong organization, communication, and follow-through skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, vendors, and deadlines.
• Experience with PLM systems; Centric PLM is a plus.
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
