About the role

The Ward Clerk/Monitor Tech interprets and monitors the patient’s cardiac rhythm status. Duties include updating and organizing information on the unit, directing communication between units and departments, and performing clerical tasks.

Requirements

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Organizational skills
• Proficient reading, writing, grammar and math skills
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Basic computer skills

Qualifications

• Licensure and Certification: Current BLS provider card, Certification in Telemetry Monitoring Course required
• Education: High School graduate, GED or equivalent. Medical terminology course completion preferred
• Experience: Previous experience in comparable position highly desired
