About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Outpatient Admissions Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage outpatient and ancillary admissions, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for patients requiring emergency department services.

Responsibilities

• Complete admissions for patients by following established procedures, including scanning documents into the Healthland System.
• Perform additional admission duties as required to support the department.
• Aid patients in navigating the hospital and provide support as needed.
• Collaborate with other emergency department staff to ensure optimal patient care and workflow.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in using health information systems, particularly the Healthland System.
