About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Ward Clerk to join our team as an Outpatient Admissions Coordinator. This role manages outpatient and ancillary admissions, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for patients requiring emergency department services.
Responsibilities
- Complete admissions for patients by following established procedures, including scanning documents into the Healthland System.
- Perform additional admission duties as required to support the department.
- Assist patients in navigating the hospital and provide support as needed.
- Collaborate with other emergency department staff to ensure optimal patient care and workflow.

Requirements
- High School Diploma.
Skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in using health information systems, particularly the Healthland System.
