WAP - Mechanical Maintenance Technician-all shifts-Willmar, MN- Jennie-O

About the role

Jennie-O Turkey Store – WAP Maintenance (Mechanical, Boiler Refrigeration, Electrical, Treatment Plant, Jack Shop) located in Willmar, MN. Position available immediately.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical troubleshooting and general maintenance tasks, including PMs on equipment per assigned area.
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisors.
• Assist team members in completing work orders/tasks per maintenance schedule.
• May be part of the Emergency Response team.
• Diagnose and perform repairs, calibrations on electromechanical and solid‑state equipment.
• Adhere to all NEC code regulations.
• Perform morning bench scale repairs.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical/electronic components and read schematics in various departments.
• May be required to lift in excess of 40 lbs at times.
• General understanding of plant power and utility layouts.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Work experience in the electrical field of 1 year or greater.
• Ability to use multimeters and electronic test equipment, read schematics and diagrams.

Pay

Base hiring pay range: $22.00 – $38.00 per hour. Competitive pay with periodic increases.
