We need to output HTML fragment with sections: headings

for sections like About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Use
  • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits, and

for prose. Do NOT repeat job title as heading. Do NOT put Job ID / requisition numbers as headings — fold minor metadata into a short

or drop it. Preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail. Remove boilerplate (cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions). Include a section ONLY when posting has real, specific content for it — never emit a heading followed by filler/placeholder text (e.g., "commensurate with experience", "not specified", "N/A", "varies", "TBD") and never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless posting actually states them. Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones. We need to parse the posting. Title: Walther Endowed Chair in Supportive Oncology Specific Title Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Psychiatry Appointment Type Open Department IUSM - Psychiatry Campus IU School of Medicine Indianapolis But we should not repeat job title as heading. So we will not output a heading for title. We need sections: maybe "About the role" (position summary), "Responsibilities", "Qualifications" (basic qualifications and additional qualifications?), "Research focus areas" maybe as part of "About the role"? Could be separate "Research focus areas". Also "About the Walther Center and IU Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center", "About IU School Of Medicine And Indianapolis". Could combine into "About the institution". But we need to follow rule: prefer few substantive sections over many thin ones. So we can group related content. We must not create sections for Benefits, Pay, Schedule unless posting actually states them. The posting does not mention pay, benefits, schedule. So we omit those sections. We need to include "About the role" (position summary). "Responsibilities". "Qualifications" (basic qualifications). Possibly "Research focus areas". "About the Walther Center and IU Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center". "About IU School Of Medicine And Indianapolis". Could combine the latter two into "About the institution". But we need to preserve all substantive information; we can keep separate sections if they are substantive. However rule says prefer few substantive sections over many thin ones. So maybe combine them into one "About the center and institution". But we need to ensure we don't lose info. Could have a section "About the Walther Center and IU Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center" and another "About IU School Of Medicine And Indianapolis". That's two sections; still okay. We must not include duplicated lines. Also remove application instructions (cover letter, CV, etc.) and EEO statements, priority deadline, expected start date, posting number? Those are minor metadata; we can fold into a short

or drop. The instruction: "Do NOT put Job ID / requisition numbers as headings — fold minor metadata into a short

or drop it." So we can include a short paragraph at end with metadata like "Priority Application Review Deadline: 10/17/2026; Expected Start Date: 10/20/2026; Posting Number: IUSM-02502-2026." Or we could drop them. Probably better to include a short

with that info. Also remove "Department Contact for Questions psychr@iu.edu" maybe keep as contact? It's not boilerplate; it's substantive contact info. Could include in a short paragraph. We must not repeat job title as heading. So we will not have

Walther Endowed Chair... etc. We need to output only HTML fragment, no /, no markdown fences. Let's craft sections:

    About the role

Position summary: Indiana University School of Medicine (IUSM) and the Indiana University Melvin and Bren Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center (IUSCCC) invite applications for a Walther Endowed Chair in Supportive Oncology within the Walther Center for Supportive Oncology. This open-rank faculty position is designed for an investigator who is ready to grow a high-impact, collaborative research program in an environment with substantial institutional commitment, endowed-chair support, and access to Indiana’s only National Cancer Institute-designated comprehensive cancer center. The Walther Center brings together research and clinical care to improve the cancer experience for patients and families. The successful candidate will join a growing team of scholars and clinicians working across palliative care, psycho-oncology, integrative medicine, rehabilitation, survivorship, symptom science, patient-reported outcomes, health services research, and related fields.

Maybe also include "Why this opportunity is compelling" as part of About the role? Could be separate section "Opportunity highlights". But we can incorporate into About the role as a paragraph. Better to have separate section "Opportunity highlights" with bullet list of compelling points: Endowed support, Collaborative environment, Flexible fit, Growth orientation, Mission and impact. That is substantive and not thin. So we can have

    Opportunity highlights

    with
    • ... etc. But rule: prefer few substantive sections over many thin ones. This is a list of 5 items; still okay. We also have "Research focus areas" which is a list of areas. Could be its own section. Responsibilities: list. Qualifications: basic qualifications list. Additional qualifications maybe part of Qualifications. We also have "About the Walther Center and IU Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center" and "About IU School Of Medicine And Indianapolis". Could combine into "About the institution and center". But we can keep two sections. Let's decide sections: - About the role (position summary + why compelling) - Opportunity highlights (maybe part of About the role) - Research focus areas - Responsibilities - Qualifications - About the Walther Center and IU Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center - About IU School Of Medicine And Indianapolis - Contact and metadata (short p) We need to avoid filler. Ensure each heading has substantive content. Let's craft content. About the role: combine position summary and why compelling? Could be two paragraphs. Opportunity highlights: bullet list. Research focus areas: bullet list. Responsibilities: bullet list. Qualifications: bullet list (basic qualifications). Could also include additional qualifications as part of same list. About the Walther Center and IU Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center: paragraph. About IU School Of Medicine And Indianapolis: paragraph. Contact and metadata: short p. Now ensure we don't repeat job title as heading. Now check for any boilerplate: EEO statements, equal employment, ADA, etc. Remove. Also remove "Priority Application Review Deadline 10/17/2026 Expected Start Date 10/20/2026 Posting Number IUSM-02502-2026" we can include in short p. Also remove "Department Contact for Questions psychr@iu.edu" we can include in short p. Now produce HTML. Let's write:

      About the role

Indiana University School of Medicine (IUSM) and the Indiana University Melvin and Bren Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center (IUSCCC) invite applications for a Walther Endowed Chair in Supportive Oncology within the Walther Center for Supportive Oncology. This open-rank faculty position is designed for an investigator who is ready to grow a high-impact, collaborative research program in an environment with substantial institutional commitment, endowed‑chair support, and access to Indiana’s only National Cancer Institute‑designated comprehensive cancer center. The Walther Center brings together research and clinical care to improve the cancer experience for patients and families. The successful candidate will join a growing team of scholars and clinicians working across palliative care, psycho‑oncology, integrative medicine, rehabilitation, survivorship, symptom science, patient‑reported outcomes, health services research, and related fields.

      Why this opportunity is compelling:

      • Endowed support: The chair is one of five Walther‑endowed positions created to recruit academic leaders and accelerate supportive oncology research and care.
      • Collaborative environment: Candidates will engage with investigators, clinicians, trainees, IU Health partners, and community collaborators across a highly interdisciplinary academic health system.
      • Flexible fit: Faculty rank, department home, and clinical effort, where applicable, will be aligned with the candidate’s discipline, expertise, and career goals.
      • Growth orientation: The center is building a long‑term initiative with opportunities for new programs, team science, pragmatic and translational research, implementation, and dissemination.
      • Mission and impact: The role offers a platform to improve quality of life, care delivery, health equity, and outcomes for people with cancer and their loved ones.
But we already have a heading "About the role". Then we added a paragraph "Why this opportunity is compelling:" then a list. Could combine into same section. Alternatively, we could make a separate section "Opportunity highlights". But we already have list under About the role. That's okay. Now Research focus areas:

      Research focus areas

      • Psycho‑oncology, behavioral oncology, mental health, coping, distress, resilience, and caregiver/family support
      • Palliative care, symptom management, cancer pain, fatigue, cachexia, sleep, communication, decision‑making, and serious illness care
      • Survivorship, cancer and aging, sexual health, quality of life, rehabilitation, return‑to‑work and functional outcomes
      • Integrative oncology, exercise, physical activity, lifestyle interventions, nutrition, music therapy, and mind‑body interventions
      • Health services research, implementation science, dissemination, digital health, patient‑reported outcomes, health equity, and community‑engaged research
      Responsibilities:

      Responsibilities

      • Maintain and expand an independent, peer‑reviewed research program in supportive oncology or a closely related field.
      • Develop innovative, collaborative, and translational scholarship that contributes to the growth and national visibility of the Walther Center.
      • Pursue external funding and publish high‑impact scholarly work commensurate with rank and discipline.
      • Participate in multidisciplinary and team‑science initiatives across IUSM, IUSCCC, IU Health, and community partners.
      • Mentor learners, staff, trainees, and/or junior colleagues, commensurate with career stage and appointment level.
      • Contribute to teaching, service, leadership, and community engagement activities consistent with the candidate’s expertise and faculty appointment.
      Qualifications:

      Qualifications

      • PhD, MD, MD/PhD, or equivalent terminal degree in a relevant discipline.
      • A productive independent research program with peer‑reviewed extramural funding or a strong funding trajectory appropriate to rank.
      • Scholarly productivity and an emerging, established, or nationally recognized reputation in supportive oncology or a related field.
      • Demonstrated commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration across clinical, research, educational, and/or community settings.
      • Experience mentoring learners, staff, research teams, or junior colleagues, commensurate with rank and career stage.
      • Commitment to advancing inclusive excellence, health equity, and patient‑ and family‑centered cancer care through research, teaching, mentoring, service, or community engagement.
We could also include "Additional Qualifications" but they are basically same as basic qualifications; the posting had "Additional Qualifications Special Instructions" but that's just instructions. We'll ignore. Now About the Walther Center and IU Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center:
