Duties And Assignments
- Responsible for the overall condition of the assigned dining car.
- Provide complete customer care from boarding, seating, and serving through deboarding.
- Greet customers and perform boarding and seating procedures.
- Prepare tables and ensure they are clean and fully set.
- Check the quality of dishes before serving and help maintain food quality standards.
- Deliver food and beverages in a timely manner.
- Attend to tables and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Strictly adhere to food, sanitation, and safety standards.
- Organize and accommodate guests while maintaining clear and organized tables.
- Clean and sanitize work areas and storage areas.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining car.
- Stock supplies and equipment.
- Report any issues involving guests, management, or staff to management.
- Perform food preparation and table service to the highest standards.
- Move food from the kitchen to the dining room and serve tables.
- Clear dishes, glasses, silverware, and condiments from tables and move them to proper locations.
- Remove trash and properly dispose of it.
- Promote a positive dining experience by greeting customers, responding to service requests, and addressing complaints professionally.
- Completely clean and reset the dining car for the next excursion after passengers deboard.
- Recognize that the heritage train is an entertainment venue and demonstrate experienced hospitality skills.
- Adhere to uniform policies and grooming standards, presenting a neat and professional appearance.
