About the role
Unidine is hiring immediately for part-time Waiter/Waitress positions at Friends Village in Woodstown, NJ.
Schedule
- Part-time schedule with rotating weeknights, weekends, and holidays
- Hours: 3:30 am to 7:30 pm; days may vary
Requirements
- No experience necessary; willing to train
Responsibilities
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room; take food and beverage orders efficiently
- Deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- Follow up periodically to assist with additional needs or requests
- Demonstrate understanding of menu items and ingredients; advise guests on food and drink combinations when requested
- Accommodate reasonable requests and note preferences; demonstrate knowledge of specialized diets and allergens as needed
- Communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure accurate order delivery and special request accommodation
- Exhibit exceptional communication skills and ability to work well with others
- Remain flexible and patient when communicating with guests and staff
- Collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- Promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
- Maintain confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
- Promptly address complaints or issues; relay relevant information to supervisor
- Ensure dining room is properly set up before and after service; keep area clean and meet sanitation standards
- Operate equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
- Collaborate with other departments during special events and functions
- Perform other duties as assigned
Pay
$15.92 per hour
