Responsibilities

• Prepares the dining room for meals
• Sets tables, folds napkins, provides & refills condiments
• Runs the sweeper or mops the floors
• Keeps pedestals clean
• Provides beverage service and serves meals in a courteous & professional manner
• Uses the direct bussing system
• Knows residents' dietary menu options and takes accurate orders

Qualifications

• Knowledge of proper table setting, serving standards, and direct bussing system
• Knowledge of residents' dietary restrictions and diets
• Ability to take accurate orders

Education

• A high school diploma / GED or High School work permit is required

Experience

• Six months to one year prior experience in food service or dish washing is preferred
