About the role
Fairhaven Christian Retirement Center is looking for reliable and compassionate Wait Staff to support our Dining Services team. Responsibilities include serving meals, maintaining a clean and safe dining environment, and assisting with dishwashing and food service tasks. Responsibilities
- Serve meals to residents and guests.
- Understand and follow special dietary requirements when serving food.
- Set up, deliver, and collect meal trays.
- Set and clear dining room tables.
- Wash dishes and clean kitchen and dining equipment.
- Clean tables, chairs, and dining room floors after meals.
- Complete daily cleaning checklists.
- Protect resident privacy and follow HIPAA regulations.
- Build positive relationships with residents and coworkers.
- Follow sanitation, infection control, and safety procedures.
- Report any concerns involving resident safety, abuse, neglect, or resident rights.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling throughout a shift.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow directions.
- Friendly communication skills and the ability to work well with residents and coworkers.
- Comfortable working in a Christian retirement community.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Pay
Starting Pay: $15.00 - $15.45 per hour
Schedule
- Full-Time: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM, Weekdays and weekends
- Part-Time: 15 to 20 hours per week, 4:30 PM - 8:00 PM, Weekdays and weekends
