Responsibilities
- Evaluates the quality of service and develops systems to maximize efficiency.
- Takes beverage and food orders, delivers food, clears, cleans, sanitizes, and resets tables.
- Maintains customer satisfaction by resolving dining challenges before the meal service concludes.
- Maintains a clean dining room by ensuring all equipment, walls, table tops and bases, and chairs are clean.
- Changes linens as needed, keeps table top condiments and salt and pepper shakers clean, and washes and sanitizes dishware as required.
- Maintains a safe work environment by ensuring all actions comply with Safety Committee Standards and managing unsafe actions.
- Fosters teamwork with co-workers, shows initiative in overcoming obstacles, takes actions which assist others beyond job responsibilities, and positively impacts co-workers, residents, and visitors.
- Performs other duties as assigned or needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a similar role preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
