Wage and Hour Attorney (REMOTE)

• Firm: A growing law firm in the Los Angeles area, known for its strong record in plaintiff's side wage-and-hour class action litigation.
• Location: Fully remote
• Salary: $150,000 - $350,000 per year

About the role

The firm is seeking a Legal Assistant and Paralegal to join their expanding team. They focus on prosecuting consumer and employment class and representative actions, including wage-and-hour, unfair business practice, discrimination, and false advertising matters.

Responsibilities

Focus on civil litigation, including experience with discovery, oral advocacy, and court appearances. Prioritize class actions, complex litigation, and wage and hour litigation. Experience with FEHA or PAGA is preferred.

Requirements

• Licensed in the state where they reside
• 1-3 years of experience in civil litigation
• Experience with discovery in civil litigation context
• Oral advocacy and court appearances
• Motion practice and depositions
• Experience with class actions, complex litigation, and wage and hour litigation
• Experience with FEHA or PAGA
