w2 only Ruby on Rails Full-Stack Developer

About the role

Tech stack includes Ruby 3.4, Rails 7.2, Puma for backend, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, Sprockets for frontend, MySQL 8.0, Redis, GraphQL (graphql-pro), REST/JSON, Sidekiq for background jobs, AWS services like S3, SQS/SNS, Lambda, CloudWatch, Elastic Beanstalk, Devise, Auth0, JWT, MFA, Twilio, SendGrid, Bandwidth, Google APIs, and New Relic for integrations and security.

Responsibilities

• Strong Ruby on Rails experience, including ActiveRecord, controllers/services/workers, background jobs, and migrations.
• Strong JavaScript experience building production web UIs and integrating with backend APIs.
• Solid SQL / MySQL skills: schema design, query optimization, indexing, and debugging slow queries.
• Experience building and consuming REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Familiarity with automated testing (unit, integration, and browser/feature tests).
• Experience with Redis and background job systems (Sidekiq or equivalent).
• AWS experience: S3, SQS/SNS, Lambda, CloudWatch, Elastic Beanstalk (or similar PaaS deployment).
• Security-minded development (CSRF/session hardening, webhook validation).
• i18n/localization experience.

• Experience with Auth0 MFA rollout and session handling.
