Job Title: Axway API Gateway Specialist Job Duration: 6+ months Minimum years of experience required: 10+ years Type of Hire: w2 contract Job Details We are seeking a Senior Axway API Gateway Specialist with 10+ years of experience in API management, enterprise integration, and production support. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Axway API Gateway, API security, REST/SOAP services, and enterprise integration architecture. Key Responsibilities Design, configure, and support Axway API Gateway solutions.Develop API policies for routing, security, transformation, and authentication.Integrate REST/SOAP APIs with enterprise backend systems.Implement OAuth 2.0, JWT, API Keys, SSL/TLS, and mTLS.Manage certificates, keystores, and truststores.Monitor and troubleshoot API performance, connectivity, and production issues.Support deployments, upgrades, patching, and migrations.Configure routing, throttling, load balancing, and access controls.Collaborate with application, infrastructure, security, and business teams.Provide technical leadership and maintain integration documentation. Required Skills 10+ years of experience in API Management, Integration, or Middleware.Strong hands-on experience with Axway API Gateway / Axway Amplify.Expertise in REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, HTTP/HTTPS, and WSDL.Strong knowledge of OAuth 2.0, JWT, SSL/TLS, and Mutual TLS.Excellent production support and troubleshooting skills.Good knowledge of Linux/Unix, networking, DNS, proxies, and load balancers.Understanding of enterprise integration architecture and API lifecycle management.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP, CI/CD, Git, Jenkins, Docker/Kubernetes.Knowledge of Postman, Splunk/ELK, SQL, and API monitoring.Experience with API governance and high-availability environments.
