About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Azure DevOps Admin to develop and execute Azure Cloud Engineering strategies, implement best practices, and lead infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and ARM.
Responsibilities
- Develop strategy to execute Azure Cloud Engineering.
- Establish and implement standards and best practices for cloud solutions.
- Lead efforts to provision infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tooling (Terraform, ARM, etc.).
- Leverage automation to monitor and orchestrate client environments.
- Implement Cloud standards, DevOps/CICD toolchain, and Standard Operating Environment (SOE).
- Support business requirements through needs assessments and analysis.
- Apply patches and updates to enable new functionality and address vulnerabilities.
- Research emerging technologies to improve cost effectiveness and infrastructure flexibility.
- Work with Kubernetes, Docker, and other container technologies.
- Deploy Azure PaaS services (APIM, AKS, AppService, FrontDoor, etc.).
Requirements
- 9+ years of professional experience with a Bachelor’s degree.
- 9+ years of experience as an Azure cloud engineer supporting PaaS services, networking, and related technologies.
- Strong focus on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and PaaS services (AKS, AppService, etc.).
- Terraform experience is mandatory.
- Daily hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) is required.
- Azure certification is highly desired; AKS certification (CKAD) and HCI (Azure Stack) experience is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent troubleshooting abilities.
- Solid understanding of the Azure public cloud platform and software development lifecycle.
- Knowledge of programming languages, web-based technologies, and modern software architecture (CI/CD, DevOps, scalability, API-first strategy).
- Familiarity with Web services, API Gateway, load balancers, policy frameworks, cache services, and security frameworks.
Note: The interview process will include a coding review and code sample creation.
