This position will transfer to Plainfield once the new building opens. To start, the role will be in Bolingbrook.

Performs physical counts of inventory items in order to maintain accurate inventory.
Counts and reconciles randomly chosen or chosen part numbers and/or locations on a daily basis.
Accurately inputs inventory control data to ensure inventory integrity.
Completes necessary documentation thoroughly, accurately, and on-time.
Traces history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records and recommends remedial actions to resolve discrepancies.
Other tasks as assigned by supervisor/manager.
Spend 80% or more of the workday performing inventory related activities in the warehouse using an RF Gun or Tablet.
Spend 20% or less of the workday is spent working at a computer terminal.

Minimum 1-3 months related experience and/or training in Inventory Control.
Minimum 1-3 months related experience and/or training in warehouse environment.
Experience operating power equipment is required, such as Reach Truck, EPJ and or cherry picker/order picker.
Experience using WMS software a plus (Synapse preferred).
PC literate with experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Access Database.

High School Diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ensures compliance to inventory processes and procedures, and contractual obligations.
Ability to physically count articles or products on shelves, racks and pallets.
Forklift certification a plus.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Physical Demands: Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 55 pounds. Must be able to stand; walk; stoop; kneel; crouch; or crawl. Must be articulate and comfortable speaking in front of others. Frequently required to talk, hear, stand and walk. Must be able to work in excess of continuous 8 hours when required. Must be able to work under stressful situations, have good cognitive skills, maintain work accuracy, and the ability to concentrate on more than one task at a time. Must have the ability to read and discern visual images on a variety of media with 20/20 corrected vision. Must be able to speak and communicate clearly over telephones. Must be in sound physical health as determined by a certified licensed physician with no evidence of the use of controlled substances.
