W17 - Inventory Control Clerk - 1st shift
About the role
RJW Logistics Group is hiring Inventory Control Clerks with experience operating a forklift and cherry picker/high lift. Positions are available for 1st shift (Sunday - Wednesday, 5 am-3:30 pm) and 2nd shift (Wednesday - Saturday, 5 am-3:30 pm), each paying $21 per hour. Responsibilities
- Conducts cycle counts and bin location audits
- Assists in researching and reconciling inventory discrepancies
- Works with the Inventory Supervisor/Manager on inventory-related functions
- Completes necessary documentation thoroughly, accurately, and on-time
- Traces item histories to resolve discrepancies
- Performs other tasks as assigned by supervisor/manager
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-3 months related experience and/or training in Inventory Control
- Minimum 1-3 months related experience and/or training in warehouse environment
- Able to communicate, read, write, and speak English
- Ability to operate a forklift and cherry picker/high lift
- Experience using WMS software a plus (Synapse preferred)
- High School Diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency
- Mathematical skills: ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Reasoning ability: ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables
- Computer skills: proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for writing emails and interpreting/recreating reports
Skills
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to physically count articles or products on shelves, racks, and pallets
- Ability to utilize computer terminal to properly account for inventory issues, returns, and documentation

Pay
$21 per hour for both shifts.
