W15-Inventory Control Lead- B shift

About the role

The Inventory Control Lead oversees and coordinates inventory management activities including layout optimization, record review, scheduling, report preparation, discrepancy resolution, and team communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain layout of stockroom, warehouse, and storage areas
• Study records and recommend actions for non-usable, slow-moving, and excess stock
• Review records for accuracy and compliance with procedures, and assess stock levels
• Schedule special and periodic inventories
• Prepare composite reports from individual reports
• Trace item histories to resolve discrepancies and recommend actions
• Issue instructions and expedite workflow
• Assign duties and examine work for conformance to policies and procedures
• Perform other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years related experience and/or training in Inventory Control
• Minimum 1 to 2 years related experience and/or training in warehouse environments
• Experience operating forklifts and cherry pickers/high lifts
• Experience using WMS software (Synapse preferred)
• Knowledge of Inventory Control practices, KPI reporting, cycle count programs, product rotation
• Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office Suite
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
• Physical ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and crouch

Additional Responsibilities

• Read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
• Write reports and correspondence
• Utilize computer terminal for inventory management
• Operate phone systems with keyboards and buttons
• Communicate clearly and effectively

Travel Requirement

Occasional travel to assist other facilities is required, requiring reliable transportation.

• Work in excess of 8 hours when required
