About the role

VTC Technician GDIT is seeking a VTC Technician with a DOE Q or TS clearance for a full-time position in Los Alamos.

Responsibilities

• Install, fix, and troubleshoot a wide variety of video display equipment.
• Provide standard operating procedures for accessing and using video display systems.
• Maintain and enhance customer services by organizing and evaluating service and delivery systems, and procedures.
• Collaborate with other team members to promote a positive and respectful workplace.
• Handle customer escalations and act as a liaison with government/client officials.
• Possess current working knowledge of VTC/AV components, equipment, and collaboration software (MS Teams).
• Configure, operate, and troubleshoot all audio/video equipment used in the execution of VTC’s, and MS Teams meetings.
• Collaborate with clients to determine AV needs before an event.
• Provide technical assistance to users of VTC equipment and train end users on the proper use of hardware and software.
• Proactively check ticket queue for new emails and create and assign tickets for those emails.
• Ensure that tickets are actively being worked on and updated, and that no tickets are unassigned.
• Escalate tickets as needed.
• Prepare accurate documentation to support and maintain a working knowledge base of VTC processes including pertinent guidelines, regulations, compliance issues, and documentation requirements as well as reference only application reference guides as instructed by team lead.
• Identify areas of opportunity to improve customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's Degree (Substitutions will be based on additional years of experience)
• Experience: 8+ years of related experience
• Technical Skills: Video Teleconferencing Services, End User Support, Troubleshooting/Problem Solving
• Security Clearance Level: DOE Q or TS

Pay

The likely salary range for this position is $73,965 - $97,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40

Travel Required: 10-25%
