vSAN Systems Administrator Senior

Responsibilities
- Perform systems administration for enterprise VMware vSAN solution.
- Install, configure, and maintain VMware vSAN software.
- Analyze and resolve problems associated with the operating system’s servers, hardware, applications, and software.
- Maintain and monitor all patch releases, designs various patch installation strategies, and maintain all systems according to program standards.
- Manage storage network for initiators and block storage targets.
- Provide Tier 2 and 3 troubleshooting support, interfacing with the end users and other technical teams from a service support perspective.
- Maintain datastores and underlying storage infrastructure.
- Evaluate availability of all server resources and perform all activities for VMware vSAN software.
- Assist with configuring and deploying all virtual machines and provides backup to all configuration procedures.
Requirements
Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree, 3+ years of experience
Security Clearance Level: Top Secret with SCI eligibility
Required Certifications: ITIL 4 Foundation; Cloud+ or GICSP or SSCP or Security+ or GSEC or CySA+
Qualifications
Experience with virtualized storage, SAN/NAS, and storage networking
Strong Windows and/or Linux server administration
Troubleshooting across complex enterprise environments
Familiarity with backup and monitoring tools
Experience with automation (PowerShell/PowerCLI)
Background in enterprise or multi-site data center environments
This position requires you to be a candidate for Personnel Reliability Program (PRP) responsibilities
Skills

Pay
The likely salary range for this position is $85,093 - $114,425.
Schedule
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40
Travel Required: Less than 10%
Telecommuting Options: Onsite Work Location: USA NE Offutt AFB
