Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise transformation initiatives focused on operational excellence, business process optimization, and organizational effectiveness.
- Develop and execute the company's transformation strategy aligned with corporate growth objectives.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Operational Excellence, and Continuous Improvement initiatives across engineering, operations, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain.
- Establish governance, KPIs, and executive dashboards to measure transformation progress and business performance.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives that improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Customer Satisfaction (SQDC).
- Improve enterprise program execution through standardized Program Management Office (PMO) processes, risk management, resource planning, and portfolio governance.
- Drive New Product Introduction (NPI), manufacturing readiness, production ramp, and operational readiness initiatives.
- Partner with engineering, operations, and quality leadership to improve manufacturability, capacity planning, production flow, and operational efficiency.
- Lead Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen events, process optimization, and waste reduction initiatives across multiple facilities.
- Improve business processes utilizing Lean tools, Six Sigma methodologies, statistical analysis, and data-driven decision making.
- Develop enterprise change management strategies that improve organizational adoption and execution.
- Support strategic initiatives including facility expansions, manufacturing transfers, acquisitions, systems implementation, and organizational integration.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Business, or related technical discipline required; Master's degree preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive leadership experience within aerospace & defense or highly engineered manufacturing environments.
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt.
- Executive leadership experience in Transformation, Operational Excellence, Program Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, or Operations.
- Demonstrated success leading enterprise-wide transformation initiatives across multiple business functions.
- Strong background in Program Management, PMO leadership, portfolio management, and cross-functional execution.
- Extensive knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Operational Excellence, and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Experience improving operational performance through KPI development, business analytics, Value Stream Mapping, process capability improvement, and executive performance management.
- Proven ability to influence executive leadership and successfully lead organizational change.
- Excellent communication, executive presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or Operations Management.
- PMP Certification.
- Experience within Private Equity-backed or high-growth manufacturing organizations.
- Experience leading enterprise ERP, MES, or digital manufacturing transformation initiatives.
