VP, Trade Marketing
In-Store Activity Strategy
Manages team to develop in-store activity plans to execute brand strategies at retail.
Develops Go to Markets plans including execution standards for distribution, shelving, merchandising, pricing by Class of Trade.
Creates KPI objectives aligned by Class of Trade trends and strategy.
Develops prioritized tentpole activity plan across portfolio.
Develops portfolio in-store activity calendar.
Defines in-store execution objectives.
Responsible for the development and execution of in-store activations and POS.
POS/Display & Pack Architecture
Partners with customer teams and Marketing to develop actionable plans to drive accelerated growth or improve profitability.
Develops trade and consumer unit pack/price architecture framework to deliver strategic channel and customer opportunities.
Annual Planning & Trade Investment
Develops and maintains the long-term planning for the trade marketing function on the horizon of 1-3 years.
Ensures proper lead time and content for best-in-class innovation launches, meeting customer lead times.
Supports the planning and execution of seasonal and everyday portfolio.
Provides input to S&OP process on changes in distribution, promotion, customer/channel strategy.
Develops Trade Investment strategy in partnership with revenue management for each brand aligned to customer and brand strategy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a business/marketing discipline required; MBA preferred
- 15+ years relevant experience required, CPG Foods experience is preferred with Customer Management Experience
- Multi-channel CPG experience including C-store, Mass, Grocery, Dollar, Club, e-Comm & Discounters
- Significant experience of Brand / Trade / Customer Marketing, supporting delivery of effective JBP’s
- Inspirational leadership and management style that promotes teamwork and nurtures top talent
- Strong decision making and interpersonal skills with an ability to influence at the most Senior levels
- Commercially astute with strong business sense and excellent problem solving / analytical skills
- Management presentation competencies to effectively present key category insights in front of internal and external stakeholders
- Experience managing a team to deliver results
Pay
The base salary range for this position is $196,000 - $261,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.
Schedule
This is a hybrid position, three days on-site and two days remote.
