Job Description

Seeking a senior-level strategic communications and brand strategy consultant to support a global consumer technology client across flagship device launches, research-driven positioning, earned media strategy, and executive-level strategic counsel.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic direction and messaging development for major flagship product launches
  • Conduct and synthesize consumer, cultural, competitive, and media landscape research
  • Develop positioning frameworks, messaging territories, and strategic narratives
  • Possess strong understanding of media, cultural, and technology trends
  • Develop strategic narratives and executive-level messaging frameworks
  • Experience conducting or guiding qualitative and quantitative research initiatives
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with creative, editorial, and account teams
  • Create POVs, thought leadership materials, and executive-ready presentations
  • Support primary research initiatives including surveys, AI-assisted interviews, and discussion guides
  • Develop earned media and cultural activation concepts tied to product sustain campaigns
  • Provide strategic oversight and consultation on decks, Q&A materials, and industry trends
  • Affordability to assist with ad hoc RFPs and high-priority presentations as needed

Requirements

  • Minimum Requirements: 10 years of experience in strategic communications, brand strategy, PR strategy, or integrated marketing
  • Average of 5 years of agency experience supporting enterprise or Fortune 500 clients
  • Experience supporting large-scale consumer technology or innovation-focused brands
  • Strong understanding of media, cultural, and technology trends
  • Expertise developing strategic narratives and executive-level messaging frameworks
  • Experience conducting or guiding qualitative and quantitative research initiatives
  • Ability to synthesize complex information into concise strategic recommendations
  • Strong presentation development and storytelling skills
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with creative, editorial, and account teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Consumer tech, AI, or smartphone category experience
  • Experience supporting major product launches or innovation campaigns
  • Familiarity with earned media strategy and thought leadership development
  • Experience exploring emerging AI research tools and methodologies
