Position Overview
The Vice President of Supply Chain, reporting directly to the President of MTI, serves as a strategic leader responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain operations, from procurement to delivery, while driving strategic growth and operational excellence.
Essential Job Functions
Strategic Leadership: Own and direct end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement/sourcing, planning, logistics, and inventory/warehouse management
Sourcing & Supplier Management: Develop sourcing strategies, manage supplier performance, and ensure cost-effective, high-quality supply
Demand & Supply Planning: Lead SIOP and demand-supply planning discipline, ensuring alignment with business strategy
Logistics Optimization: Command logistics network cost and service, driving efficiency and resilience
Inventory Strategy: Build inventory strategies for turns, availability, and obsolescence reduction
Resilience & Risk Management: Implement dual sourcing, risk visibility, and post-disruption recovery programs
Digital Transformation: Drive digital supply chain capabilities with measurable results
Compliance & Sustainability: Manage trade compliance and sustainability requirements
Talent Development and Succession Planning: Recruits talent, develops leaders, builds succession bench, and drives cross-functional collaboration and accountability
