Manager, Supply Chain
Overview
Sentara is hiring a Manager, Supply Chain in the Williamsburg area. This is a Full-Time, Rotating shift opportunity with great benefits.
Responsibilities
- Assume responsibility and accountability for the operational success of a hospital Materials Management department.
- Achieve system, hospital and departmental goals and objectives.
- Develop a highly motivated team that work efficiently and effectively in providing services to hospital departments and operating centers.
- Provide on-site guidance and direction to assure supply chain goals and objectives are met.
Requirements
- 5 years of Materials Management experience is required.
- 3 Years Of Supervisory Experience Is Required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (preferred).
- Experience working in a healthcare setting with responsibility for supply chain and inventory management functions.
- A strong understanding of inventory control, materials management, purchasing, and supply chain operations.
- Experience leading and developing a team of associates, including training, and day-to-day operational supervision.
