Manager, Supply Chain

Overview

Sentara is hiring a Manager, Supply Chain in the Williamsburg area. This is a Full-Time, Rotating shift opportunity with great benefits.

Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility and accountability for the operational success of a hospital Materials Management department.
• Achieve system, hospital and departmental goals and objectives.
• Develop a highly motivated team that work efficiently and effectively in providing services to hospital departments and operating centers.
• Provide on-site guidance and direction to assure supply chain goals and objectives are met.

Requirements

• 5 years of Materials Management experience is required.
• 3 Years Of Supervisory Experience Is Required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (preferred).
• Experience working in a healthcare setting with responsibility for supply chain and inventory management functions.
• A strong understanding of inventory control, materials management, purchasing, and supply chain operations.
• Experience leading and developing a team of associates, including training, and day-to-day operational supervision.
