Manager, Supply Chain
Sony Biotechnology, Inc. seeks a Manager, Supply Chain in San Jose, CA to oversee a team of supervisors and analysts to manage the supply chain portion of the Quality Management System through creation, revision, and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute end-to-end supply chain strategies to support forecasting, procurement, and inventory control for researching flow cytometry instruments and products using Microsoft Access, Microsoft Visio, PowerBI, Power Automate, Salesforce API, Terraform, and Smartsheet;
- Manage part master data and build trade compliance documentation portfolios including HTS codes and Country of Origin Certificates to support import and export operations;
- Support Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) documentation related to supplier evaluation, performance monitoring, and logistics procedures for Quality Management System;
- Support prototype readiness and operational alignment in collaboration with technical and business stakeholders.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Supply Chain, or related field, or equivalent experience;
- Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in supply chain management, or an alternate combination of education and experience;
- Experience with Microsoft Access, Microsoft Visio, PowerBI, Power Automate, Salesforce API, Terraform, and Smartsheet;
- Experience with Python, Excel macros, RPA tools, and creating functional specifications and test plans;
- Experience with managing part master data and building trade compliance documentation portfolios including HTS codes and Country of Origin Certificates;
- Experience with supporting Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) documentation related to supplier evaluation, performance monitoring, and logistics procedures for Quality Management System;
- Experience with supporting prototype readiness and operational alignment in collaboration with technical and business stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Experience with analyzing business data and generating supply chain visualization to present the changing dynamics of supply chain performance metrics and identify improvement opportunities;
- Experience with automating and optimizing supply chain workflows using Python, Excel macros, RPA tools, and creating functional specifications and test plans;
- Experience with managing part master data and building trade compliance documentation portfolios including HTS codes and Country of Origin Certificates to support import and export operations;
- Experience with supporting Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) documentation related to supplier evaluation, performance monitoring, and logistics procedures for Quality Management System;
- Experience with supporting prototype readiness and operational alignment in collaboration with technical and business stakeholders.
