About the role
We are seeking a VP, Sales – West Coast (SoCal) to lead our western territory sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans, leading a team of four sales representatives, identifying new business opportunities, and building long-term relationships with key accounts.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales and channel plans for the western territory to achieve company objectives and revenue targets
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of four sales representatives based in Texas, Colorado, and Southern California
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities among national retail chains, independent scrub retail shops, and organizations building healthcare uniform programs
- Set clear sales targets and performance metrics; monitor pipeline and results to track progress and drive accountability
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to drive business growth
- Assume ownership of several large FSH West Coast accounts over time to ensure continued account coverage
- Oversee sales processes, systems, and tools to optimize forecasting, reporting, and pipeline management
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product development, and customer success to align sales strategies with overall business objectives
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform sales strategy and proactively address challenges and opportunities
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive B2B sales experience, including a proven track record of success in sales leadership roles
- Must currently reside in Southern California
- Experience selling to and managing relationships with national retail chain accounts
- Demonstrated track record of proactively generating and closing new business leads
- Experience managing a distributed, multi-state sales team
- Bachelor's degree is preferred
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders
- An analytical mindset, with the ability to analyze data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions
- Ability to travel an average of 50% of the time
