VP Responsible AI

For our client, a leader in the Finance & Insurance space, we are seeking a VP of Responsible AI to join their team. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery, collaborating across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the company’s Responsible AI and AI Governance strategy
• Manage executive relationships with platform leadership, aligning product roadmaps to organizational needs
• Establish AI governance frameworks compliant with industry standards and internal policies
• Design a highly automated AI governance process to enhance efficiency and compliance oversight
• Lead transformation initiatives that shift governance from manual to automated systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI, or Data Engineering; Master's preferred
• 15+ years of leadership experience in AI governance, compliance, or related fields
• Proven track record in enterprise-level AI governance and technology risk management
• Experience with AI/ML technologies, including generative AI and automation workflows
• Strong operational skills with governance frameworks and compliance processes

Pay

$160,000 – $200,000 annually
